Joey: Mom, I think Ava is crying because she wishes she was a boy.

Joey: Mom, I wish I was invisible.
Me: Why?
Joey: Because I've never been invisible before.  I just want to try it.

Genna: When I get really big I'm going to have a baby in my tummy.
Joey:  Yeah, maybe when you get bigger and ask Jesus, he will put a baby in your belly.

Lately when we put Genna to bed she wants to stall by asking a ton of questions.  So yesterday before her nap I told her she could ask one more question.
Genna: Why is the sky blue?

Genna: Mom, is baby Ava Daddys baby Ava?
Me: Yep
Genna: Mommy's baby Ava?
Me: Yep
Genna: Joey's baby Ava?
Me: Yep
Genna: My baby Ava?
Me: yep.

Genna: The baby needs her mommy.
Cory: The baby does have her mommy.
Genna: No, the brown baby.  (Ava had a tan coloring to her when she was first born and apparently she didn't think she belonged to this pasty, white momma).

Genna is known to just randomly tell us she loves us.  She will be playing and all of a sudden look up and say "I love you momma!"
