-Cory finished his first year as a practicing Dentist. He is now in his own office, still working as an associate, but on his own. He has a great team that works with him and really is doing a great job. I am very proud of him and how hard he works to provide for our family.
-We attended 3 weddings this summer, including two of my best friends (Amy and Amanda), and my oldest sister (Nicole). They were all beautiful weddings and made our summer extremely busy :).
-We moved into a new rental house in October and have enjoyed our new space. It is much more comfortable than our old house.
-On Christmas Eve we gave birth to our third child, Ava Rose. She is the sweetest baby. So far at one week old our family has fallen in love with her. She is super easy going so far, a great eater and sleeper. Here is to hoping she stays that way :).
For 2014 we have a lot of expectations for a great year. We look forward to watching Ava grow into our family. We are excited to see where God takes our family and what His plans are for each of us.
As a part of my New Years Resolution I decided to give up Facebook. I have felt that I spend way too much time on it, taking me away from my kids and prayer life. I also felt that my relationships with friends were superficial on Facebook and I want to work on nurturing my friendships in a more personal level. I hope this year away from Facebook allows me to change for the better and to become a better mom, wife, friend, sister, and daughter. I also hope to be better about updating our blog, so stay tuned for more updates :).
