Today we celebrated the Baptism of our sweet Ava Rose during the 10:30am Mass. Ava's Godparents are two good friends from College. Her Godmother is Molly. One of the sweetest friends I have. She has always been such a devoted friend, who has made trips to visit our family at least once a year, but since July she has come to visit 3 times! We love her dearly and are so happy that Ava will have her as her Godmother. Her example of living out our faith is phenomenal and I know she will be a great witness of our Catholic Faith to Ava.
Ava's Godfather is our friend and Cory's college roommate, Jacob. He too is an excellent example of living out our Faith. He is an amazing person inside and out. You can't help but laugh around him, but he is also dependable if you need him. We truly love Jacob and have been so amazed with the Grace he has shown threw some amazingly tough obstacles he has faced in the past few years. We are so grateful he too will be an important adult in our daughters life!
The Baptism was beautiful. Our other children were very involved. Above you can see that Joey thought being in front of everyone during Mass was an opportunity to perform. He was dancing, making silly faces, and all that you might imagine during the baptism. Trying to keep a straight face up there...impossible. He may or may not have shook his bum out towards the audience at one point. Oh my. Kids will be kids I guess.
Taking a family photo with three kids....nearly impossible to get a good one...lol. These were truly the best we could get.
Such a sweet photo of Ava with Great Grandpa and Grandma
Opening Ava's presents in our football gear.

We did it!!!! We are heading to the Superbowl!
You are too sweet! Love you!
