Hi....I mean, Trick or Treat :)

Last night we took this little man trick or treating:

He was a bee again for the second time in a row, not because I have some strange obsession with them, but because we had a theme this year.  I will get to that later.  Our halloween party started early with the safe halloween party that Cory's school puts on.  Before we left the kids took some pics with Grandma.  As you can see, Genna was our little lady bug :).

Cory had to work until 4:30, so he met us at the party.  Joey was so excited for daddy to show up.

We only waited a few moments and then his daddy came around the corner.  As soon as he saw dad, our little bee booked it to dad!

Genna waited patiently in the stroller.

They had so many games and activities available for the kids.  Joey played a ton of games, but I only took a few pictures.  Here he grabbing toys/candy from the pinata.

We also ran into Dr. Chavez.  Joey loves him :).  He is one of the faculty members involved with the Catholic Club.

We ran into this guy dressed up as an ant-eater.  Joey loves to hug people in full costumes.  Cory video taped it.  Unfortunately it got a little awkward.  The ant-eater was just too tall!

After lots of fun on campus, we went home to have pizza and to get ready for our night of trick or treating!  Around 7pm we packed up to drive to the neighborhood close by.  Here is a bad attempt at a family photo :).

Notice Joey, Genna, and I are all bugs, and Joey is the bug catcher :).  So fun.

My mom tagged along too!  She even put on some wings to fit in :).  It was fun having her with us.

Joey was such a funny trick or treat.  He loved saying "hi" instead of "trick or treat."  He also enjoyed running into their houses when the door opened up!  He also learned that if he was allowed to pick the candy, he could just grab a huge handful (lets be real, huge for him is like 3 pieces of candy).  He could hardly hold his bucket, but boy did he have fun! Here is a video of him trick or treating :).
