I left my heart in San Francisco....

Well....maybe not, but it was the only title I could think of :). I have finally made it to my last post about our trip to the Northwest this summer. Our last part of the trip was to head to San Francisco to visit family, to watch Cory's little brother Kyle graduate from Cal Poly, and for the two of us to check out the area for possible living potential. It was a quick, busy trip, but totally worth it!

We flew into Oakland on Wednesday, rented a mini van and drove to Cindy's (my mother-in-law) dad's home in Antioch.  He is such a sweet man.  He was a Dentist, so it is fun for Cory to hear his many stories from his life as a dentist.  We took an opportunity to get some pictures with Grandpa.  We will always cherish these photos!

After lunch with Grandpa we took of for Newark to borrow a car from Ric's (father-in-law) parents.  We were able to visit for a little bit, and here are a few photos that we took.  I love this one because it is a 4 generation photo of Gaunt men/boy/girl.

After visiting with the grandparents, we hopped in our cars and drove to San Carlos to visit with Cindy's brother and sister.  We had a wonderful feast made by Cory's Uncle Clyde and Aunt Linda.  Our kids were so exhausted from this long day, and poor Genna started having some gas pains.  Little did we know we had a baby whisperer at the house :).  Cory's aunt Care rocked our sweet baby right to sleep.  We were so thankful for her help!

Joey loved playing with his 2nd cousins

The next day Cory, Ric, and I drove all around San Francisco to get an idea of the area.  Meanwhile, Cindy took the kids to Ric's parents house and watched them while we were out and about.  Here is a pic of Cory and I on our trip in San Francisco and another precious photo of Genna with Grandma.

The last leg of our trip was to dive 3 hours south to San Lusi Obisbo to watch my little BIL graduate from college.  We were so proud of him.  We met him for dinner on Friday night and then went back to our BEAUTIFUL hotel on the water.

The next morning, Cory, Ric, Cindy, and Kyle all got up and went to the bars at 6am to celebrate Kyle's graduation.  There were tons of parents out at that time of the morning.  It is such a funny tradition.  I happily agreed to stay at the hotel and sleep in with the babies :).
6am Cheers!
At 9am Kyle Graduated from Cal Poly!  It was a nice graduation.  It was pretty hot outside, but nothing compared to the Phx heat.

Joey was a little restless sitting in the stands for the graduation.  We let him walk between all of us when he started getting antsy.  Unfortunately he lost his balance and walked backwards, tripped over the bench seat in front of us and fell and whacked his head on the next level.  He was just sobbing, until we gave him the Ipad to play with.  He immediately went from a WAHHH to a hahahaha.  It was hilarious.

Here are several photos of us posing after Kyle's graduation.
