6 months old!

Today our sweet little Genevieve turned 6 months old.  It blows my mind how fast she is growing.  She is such a sweet girl and we fall more and more in love with her each day. 

At 6 months Genna is doing the following:

• Smiling and laughing a ton
• Starting baby cereal and food
• Really interested in what her big brother is doing.
• squeals and growls all the time. 
• Sleeps through the night without eating, however she is a pacifier girl and sometimes wakes up multiple times to be "re-plugged."
• She is great at rolling, but does not like tummy time.  So when she rolls onto her tummy she gets mad pretty quickly.
• She LOVES to jump.  Sitting still is not her cup of tea. 
• She loves to hold onto toys
• She enjoys grabbing anything in her reach. 
• Sleeping in the ergo is one of her favorite places to sleep, mommas too :).
• Loves touching daddy's face
• Enjoys dancing with mommy.

As you can see she is doing very well.  Overall she is pretty relaxed.  Genna still has gas pains every once in awhile, but overall she seems to be growing out of it.  I think she wakes up throughout the night more often because of stomach pains, but can usually be soothed back to sleep with a pacifier.  We are still swaddling her at night because she wakes herself up with her arms.  We love her so much and are enjoying watching her grow and learn new things.
