when you have to sit down with a glass of wine and laugh.
People often comment on what a happy boy Joseph is, and he is very happy, but with that happiness comes a mr. grump too. I think his terrible 2's are starting a little early. He isn't communicating has well as both him and I would like, which is a big part of the problem.
Today, for example, he was an emotional wreck! Gen was having a rough day with her stomach pain, because of this we didn't make it outside today. This made for a long morning for Joey. His peak meltdown occurred when he was watching a Veggie Tales video. It got to a certain point of the movie and suddenly he went crazy. He started sobbing and saying no over and over again. I tried everything and he just would not calm down. Then we tried lunch because I thought maybe he was hungry. He hardly ate any food and so we had a early nap today.
How exhausting.
If only I could get in his mind and figure out what is going on in that little brain.
Luckily for this little guy, his cute moments make me (almost) forget about those not so cute moments. Today when I went to get him out of his crib after his nap, he was announcing over and over again that he went "pooh, pooh" haha. It is his new favorite word, and he tells us everytime he goes!
Oh yeah, and he recently decided he LOVES to color. He has been in his high chair for an hour coloring. Who is this kid? haha.
Well, lets just say I am looking forward to relaxing tonight with my glass of wine in 2 hours...but who is counting down the time?
