"Favorite Things Event"

Today I, along with several girls from my bible study/support group, went to this awesome brunch called "Favorite Things Event."  Basically, this local church creates a book of peoples "favorite things," ranging from restraurants, blogs, stores, cleaning supplies, etc.  They talked about most of the items, and also had several businesses donate items to be given away.  Every woman at the event walked away with something, whether it was a gift card to a restaurant, a cookbook, a book, a stuffed animal, etc.   After they explained the item,  you just had to raise your hand if you wanted it. 

I walked away with several fun things: A gift card for a facial, a free car wash, $500 off Hail Damage repair (yes...we had golf ball sized hail the other day and now we have dents all over our car), $10 off a consignment store purchase, and several different food samples :).  It was such a fun way to bring so many women together. 

I just love the girls that are a part of my bible study group.  It has been such a blessing to have them in my life as a support, especially  here in Arizona.  I had such a strong community of friends in Washington, and God has graced me once again with beautiful women who support, encourage and love me.
