The positive? Our dishes are always clean.
If you create a system where you rinse off all the food and have a soapy tub of water ready to go, it makes the process rather simple.
Three mechanics later, we finally have a working washing machine...as of today! Praise God!
2. Projects, projects, projects. They have taken over our life! We have so many things we are doing right now.
-Building our swing set: Our back yard is on a slight hill, which makes this complicated. We are also missing a few pieces of hardware and that also makes things complicated.
-Rerouting sprinklers: We are paying someone to do this. We needed to reroute them because of the next thing on the list.
-Putting in a cement patio to extend our cement patio in the back yard.
-Fixing our hot tub. So we were dumb and turned off the heat this winter without draining our hot tub....so dumb. Our excuse? Overwhelmed new homeowners trying to settle in. Oh well, it is what it is.
-Organizing our garage and basement.
Almost done, just need to finish a few things and get dirt to level it out.
3. Youth Ministry: We are almost done with our first year of Youth Ministry. Craziness. It was a busy year. Looking back I honestly did not expect that it would be so time consuming. I also didn't expect to grow in my faith in such a dramatic way and learn so much about myself. I might just be crazy enough to do it again. :)
We took a group of teens to the Catholic Youth Conference. It was so much fun. The kids were great and the conference was amazing.
anticipating the rush of 8o plus people to get breakfast around 7am. Why did I do this again?
All the milk and yogurt in the fridge...few barely fit!
Auntie Cole is always making her glamorous
before we left, in Kody's bed :)
Freshman year roommates! Sweets friend ever!
Best Sisters EVER!
