a lot this year and it is getting me very excited to fly home for Christmas. Phoenix is a fun place to be in the winter. It is nice never worrying about slipping on ice when you are driving and you can pretty much be outside 8 out of the 12 months, but going through Christmas without snow and freezing temperatures, and without a chaotic house of family members just isn't the same.
Last year we had to stay here because I was only 4 weeks away from my due date, so going home is extra special because we haven't been home in two years for Christmas.
What are we looking forward to most?
Hanging out with my sisters....
Doing random, goofy things with my brothers (in-law)
Watching Kyle hand out random/hilarious gifts....
Seeing all the cousins together and watching our kids interact with both sets of Grandparents.
Eating big family dinners and playing games....
And of course celebrating Christmas and going to our Christmas Mass as a family. So many things to look forward too. There really is no place like home for the Holidays :).
