Today as I was cleaning up from dinner Joey turned to me and said, "I pooped!" Shocked I asked, "you pooped?" Joey then responded and said "Yeah!"
I know this seems like a simple conversation, but it was a big deal to us. For one, he had never said "I pooped" before, which to us is a complete sentence. But the big deal, was when I asked him if he pooped, he actually said "yeah."
Usually if I ask him a question that requires a "yes" response, I get a confused look on his face and/or he "repeats" the question with some sort of baby babble we don't understand. So yes, when Joey told us he pooped...we jumped for joy!
It's the small things that count sometimes! Go Joey!
