aka 8 MONTHS!!!
Our sweet girl turned 8 months old yesterday. She is a ball of energy. Completely different from Joseph. Going to church with her has become quite the challenge because she would prefer to crawl on the ground then to be in our arms. At home, we can put her on the ground for 2 hours and she is content playing with her toys the entire time. She constantly goes from the laying down position to the sitting position on her own. This began a month ago. Lately when we get her up from her nap, she is sitting upright waiting for us. It cracks us up.
She loves sitting in the high chair when we are eating dinner. We give her these little rice sticks that melt in her mouth and baby puff snacks. She just enjoys throwing those everywhere :).
Yesterday she sported her Seahawks Cheerleading outfit with daddy. They even beat the Cardinals so we are thinking she was their good luck charm :). I used to have this same outfit when I was little, so my cousin got it for Genna too :).
Genna used to love this bouncer so much, but recently has decided it constrains her too much. She would rather roll/crawl around after her big brother. A few changes I have noticed in her most recently are:
-She is definitely a morning person. She is up and ready to go anytime between 6-6:30 am. Luckily I have been getting up early anyways, but my goodness, we don't sleep in around here on the weekends.
-She is a great napper. She usually takes 2 naps a day, lasting about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Joey was not a good napper, but always slept late, so I guess you only get one or the other :).
-She LOVES to eat. If we don't get it to her fast enough we have a back arching, screaming baby :).
-She will eat anything. Peas, beans, etc. This is so nice because Joey was much more picky and would hardly eat/drink his bottle.
-She is such a happy girl. Always smiling and slapping her legs. We are so happy to have her and to watch her grow into such a beautiful girl.
