A weekend visitor

Last weekend my best friend Amanda came for a visit from Colorado.  She wanted to meet Genevieve and to spend some quality time with us.  We didn't do a whole lot because of the babies and because she was getting over a cold, but here are some of the highlights of her trip:

1) We went to Cory's Dental school Luau.  This is a tradition his class started their first year of school.  We had amazing pulled pork and rice for dinner, along with an assortment of sides.  After dinner we also had a show.  3 young girls performed for us.  Of course the weather was perfect, so the whole thing was outdoors! Joey had such a great time running around.

2) We went to our friend Joey and Karen's for a BBQ.  We had a great time eating good food and drinking great margarita's :).  More on this later.

3)We went for a walk around campus and found two geese with their brand new baby!  It was so fun.

4) Finally, Amanda and I got to lay out by the pool while the babies took a nap.  Thanks to Cory who was studying at home and was able to keep an ear out for the babes. 

It was so fun to have Amanda here.  We have been friends since kindergarten and it amazes me that we have stayed in contact this long.  Thanks for coming to visit Amanda! We love you!
