30 weeks, thanksgiving, and Joey

Well I have reached the 30 week mark.  I wasn't very good about taking photos with this pregnancy...I guess having a baby to run around after takes up a lot of my attention :).  So I figured our little girl might want to see what momma looked like pregnant with her.  This pregnancy has been much more difficult than the first one.  Nothing too bad, but a lot of hip and back pain. I can't wait to have this little girl, but I am sure with the holidays coming, time will fly and before we know it Jan. 26th will be here.

On another note, we are headed to Denver today for Thanksgiving.  We are leaving when Cory gets done with work.  We plan to drive to Albuquerque, New Mexico tonight and then go from there to Denver tomorrow.  My best friend Amanda lives there.  We can't wait to get away from Phx and enjoy some fun time with our friend.   Pray traveling with Joey goes well :).

Lastly, while we are gone, Joey will be turning 15 months. I am amazed at how much Joey has changed sincce he turned 12 months....here are a few highlights from the last three months:

1. Joey is now completely off bottles and drinking from a sippy cup! So thankful.  Although he is not much of a milk drinker...maybe takes about 12 oz a day, but gets lots of calcium from yogurt and cheese.

2. He is walking! He is the cutest walker ever...his fists stay up by his face most of the time and he is very wobbly...but sure enough he is walking.

3.  He LOVES Bananas and would eat them for every meal if I let him :).

4. He is not as patient in the stroller anymore....he would wrather be moving on his own.  He has quite the impatient noises he makes....sort of a mix of grunting, pouting, pulling, and pointing. :)

5. He is finally starting to take an interest in using a spoon.  I haven't forced it because he was not interested, now he likes to hold his spoon with one hand and eat with the other ;).

6. He loves flipping through his books by himself in his bedroom.

7.  EVERYTHING is DADA.  Birds, mommy, daddy, food, etc....

8. He is transitioning between two naps a day to one....some days he only needs one nap, sometimes two.  He has never been the best napper, but he is a great nightime sleeper....Other than the fact that he knows what bedtime means, so we have to be much more strategic when putting him to bed. 

9.  He loves getting his teeth brushed...when daddy walks out with his toothbrush he says....ahhhh. 

10.  Lastly, he is such a goofball....such a funny personality.  Sometimes when we get him out of his crib he does crazy things.  For example, Cory went to get him  up from his nap two days ago, and when he went up to the crib, Joey, who was laying on his tummy, looked up, saw dad, and then started banging his face on this mattress with his mouth wide open yelling.....ahh ahh ahh ahh....and laughing.  can you say GOOFY? haha
