I am really excited to share a cool website I found. Actually, a friend (Julie) told me about it awhile ago, and I am just now getting back into charting for Natural Family Planning. I needed to get back into the whole process of taking my temperature and checking my cervical fluids (sorry if that was to much info for you) and I needed a little motivation. This website allows you to chart on it and it will graph everything for you. It is typically used for people who are trying to get pregnant, but I figured I could use it for both :). The website is called http://www.fertilityfriend.com/
If you are interested in keeping an online chart you should definitley check it out. For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, you should check out this website:

Holla!
ReplyDeleteAlso, for anyone looking for more information, look into the book: "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." Like you said in your post, it's a great way step toward conceiving, but it can also be used as a natural birth control method!
Only one problem with the sympto-thermal method: your basal body temp. requires (I think) four hours of consecutive sleep in order to be accurate, and as all us moms know, sometimes that just doesn't happen. So you have to be careful not to rely to heavily on that one. Cervical mucus is still the best indicator. This is something I learned when I took a little NFP refresher after Clare was born. Did you know your body is completely different after having a baby??? :)
