Mother's Day and my 24 week (monthly picture)

Me at 24 Weeks Pregnant.

The beautiful flowers Cory gave me, and a rose from my good friend Alyssa (a friend who is a week behind me in her pregnancy)

Yesterday, Cory and I celebrated my first Mother's Day! It was very special. Although my child is not outside of my womb yet, we believe that we became parents the moment we conceived Joseph. It is kind of funny when people say happy almost Mother's Day, because we believe I am already a mother. Therefore, it is actually, Happy Mother's Day. By saying almost, to me it sounds like Joseph is almost our son, but we all know he IS our son :). It is easy to do, but I am very proud to say that I legitimately celebrated my first Mother's Day on Sunday :).

With that, I am happy to post some updated pictures of my belly and to show you my first Mother's Day gift. I woke up to a wonderful surprise breakfast, created by my lovely husband :). He had roses sitting on the table for me and had a wonderful Mother's Day card for me. I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband who is so supportive and loving. He made me feel so special yesterday and I am so grateful to have him in my life :).

The picture I am posting is not only my first Mother's Day picture with my son, but is also my
monthly photo. I am 24 Weeks pregnant now. I am posting pictures every month to show how my belly is growing. I am getting bigger and bigger each day. It is a lot of fun to see the growth, but I am also feeling it in my back :). I am really beginning to feel the aches and pains that come along with pregnancy, but I know it will be worth it to see my son for the first time!

All is well with the Arizona Gaunt family :). We are looking forward to summer (only 2 weeks away!!!). Please keep Cory in your prayers. He has his finals next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday!

  1. I love the slippers. :) Baby Joey is definitely showing now! You look great! The back pain is no fun, but like you said, completely worth it. And happy belated Mother's Day!
