Trip to Seattle

As you can see, Joey is quickly growing in my tummy :). Lately my stomach has just popped, and let me tell you, I have been feeling that growth. The last few nights my stomach has been stretching, which has caused quite a bit of pain. The sacrafices one must make to bring a life into this world :).

Last week I went home to visit family and friends. I flew in two days before Easter so I could attend the Easter Vigil. My sisters boyfriend Drew became Catholic through the Newman Center at the college Cory and I attended. It was wonderful to see old college friends and to witness the beautiful sacraments. It was also nice to spend time with my sister and my dad on Easter (My mom was in Canada for the first part of my visit). Cory went to mass with a few other Dental students and then they all went out to breakfast. When he came home, he found out the Easter bunny had brought him an Easter basket! Boy was he excited :).

I spent the rest of the week visiting with friends. I went to Bellingham for a few days and then spent a few more days in Stanwood. I was pleasantly surprised by how many baby clothes I received. I guess once people find out if you are having a boy or a girl, they get baby happy and start buying you little outfits. I even had a good friend give me all of her boy clothes. It was so exciting to open them up and imagine Joey wearing them. I can already tell he is going to be one spoiled little boy :). When my mom came home we went shopping for some maternity clothes because I was in need of them. It was fun spending time with her and shopping around for clothes. Of course we picked something up for Joey ;).

The last part of my trip ended in the Southern side of the state. I went to Seattle for the day with my friend Amy McMahon. We went to the church she is getting married at and then went to her dress shop. I saw her in her BEAUTIFUL dress and I got to try on the bridesmaid dress. I tried on the size I ordered and I am a little concerned it will be tight...I hope and pray it will fit on her big day :). We spent the rest of the day having lunch on the water front and at the Aquarium. I even got to see a shark!!! Then she drove me to my aunt and uncles house in Federal Way. I spent the night with them and then headed to Chehalis to attend Melissa and Calvin's wedding. What a beautiful wedding! I was so happy to be there. Melissa looked absolutely beautiful! I love weddings even more now that I have been through one. It was fun to get together with my old roommates and friends. My last stop was to my best girl Kaleigh's apartment. She let me crash at her place and then took me to the airport to head back home to my husband.

I had a wonderful time, but I was so excited to see Cory. It was the longest we had been apart since we were married and we were very happy to be reunited. He is truly my best friend and I am so happy to be married to him.
