We are having a......Boy!!!

Well, it is official, we are having a little boy. We are overwhelmed with joy. I am so thrilled to finally be able to call my child by his name, Joseph Steven Gaunt. I know most of you are probably surprised we already have a name, but we have known our first son's name for a long time. Cory really loves the name Joseph and we decided on Steven as the middle name for two reasons. My dad's name is Steven and when we found out we were pregnant, Fr. Qui Thac said a mass for Joseph on the feast of St. Stephen. We are spelling Steven the way my dad's name is spelled to keep the name in the family :). So there you go....our child has been named :).

It was so amazing to see our baby in 3D. We had a tough time seeing the baby's face because he was hiding it with his hands and behind things in my uterus ;). The top picture was the best image we could see. It is looking like our baby may have Cory's nose, much smaller than mine...(thank goodness...haha). Now we are just praying he doesn't take after cory's dare devil personality :).

On a side note, I felt Joey (my nickname for joseph) kicking for the first time yesterday. It was such an amazing feeling. I was so excited to finally have a new connection with my son. I don't even care that it woke me up (anyone want to bet I won't be saying that a few months from now?). I think it is one of the most incredible things I will ever experience. Cory can hardly wait to feel a kick for the first time. I hope it is sooner than later :).
