On Saturday we threw Genevieve a little tea party for her 3rd birthday. I didn't want to make it too big because a) I just had a baby 6 weeks ago, b) it was inside our house, and c) smaller parties are much easier to handle.
I spent Friday shopping for a few supplies and after she went to bed I set up her tea party table.
She was so excited to see her table, and it took everything she had, not to touch the table or the fun things on it. But it was worth the wait.
Her sweet little friends showed up and fun was to be had. They drank "tea" from their tea cups (okay it was lemonade). One friend told his mom he didn't like lemonade, instead he wanted more "tea." haha.
She smiled the entire time. I'll say she had fun.
When I asked her what type of cake she wanted, she said chocolate with pink frosting...so that is what she got.
Happy 3rd birthday sweet girl! We love you so much.
