3 years of marriage

I know this post is a bit late, but, Cory and I celebrated 3 years of marriage on June 27th.  It is amazing how fast time goes by after you have children. Once children are in the picture, it is difficult to find alone time with your husband.  Therefore, we found it fitting to spend a weekend away from the babies....out first one in almost 2 years! 

Our friends watched Joey and Genna for the weekend, meanwhile, we spent one night at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort

It was so relaxing and beautiful.  It is cheap to stay there during the summer because it is in the off season :).  Bonus to living in Phx during the summer I guess :).    We spent the day pool side.  Our favorite part of the pools was the lazy river.

After a full day at the pool we went to check in to our hotel room.  We were surprised how nice it was for the price we paid. 

After cleaning up, we got ready to go out to dinner for our official Anniversary celebration dinner.

We went to Babbo, an Italian restaurant we love.  It was nice to sit down for dinner and not have to attend to a baby, but just enjoy a nice, quiet meal. 

 Okay, so maybe it wasn't all that quiet :)....

 After dinner, we went back to the hotel and played some mini golf in the rain....so fun :).  And then came back to our room and played games.  We even got as creative as enjoying a game of poker using gummy bears! 

We had such a great time.  I am so blessed to have a husband like Cory.  He is truly my best friend and the love of my life.  I can't wait to see what God has in store for us for the next 50 years!
