Spokane Falls and Riverfront Park

While in Spokane we were able to participate in a lot of fun activities the town has to offer.  On this particular day we went to Spokane Falls, which at this time of year is amazing because the water levels are so high.  Standing on the suspension bridge was so fun....and wet!  We even went on a Gondola ride over the river.  Joey was a little nervous at first, but then he warmed up to the idea.  Gen was all smiles.

We also went to look at the ducks.  I used to come here as a little girl, except I was able to feed the ducks bread.  Now you are not allowed to, which I understand, but still, I wish Joey could have experienced that.  He LOVES birds of any type, so this place was fun for him.  However, I don't remember seeing so many geese there when I was little.  There were more geese than ducks.  I love this photo of Joey, he is just so excited!

Granddad took some time off work to hang out with us. I love this photo of the two of them :).

And of course, when at riverfront park,  you have to go on the carousel.  It was so fun to take Joseph for the first time.
