This year, my friend Karen and I made Thanksgiving dinner....and it was a success! We had so much fun planning the dinner and preparing the food. We had a hodge podge group of people for dinner. The group included: Karen and Joey, Athena and Cory, Lowell and Pauline (my grandparents), Kevin, Adam, and Elsa (all classmates of Joey who didn't have any family around for thanksgiving). We had a great time. Below are pictures of the night:
Here is the BEAUTIFUL table that Karen set for us.

Here is a picture of Joey hanging out as we cooked dinner. His very first Thanksgiving!

Our stuffed turkey! Karen allowed me to clean it out....how fun....(notice the sarcasm!) haha

Karen is adding some spices to our turkey :).

Karen is putting the turkey in the oven! So exciting.

This is when the praying began!

I am pulling out our egg casserole for breakfast. It turned out perfect! yummy!

Yes, we are eating breakfast outside...it was 80 degrees out on Thanksgiving day!

Cory and Joey are matching! Notice the drool marks on both of their shirts...haha...Joey has been drooling a lot and got some on dads shirt. Our friend Amy bought these for them at the Seattle Aquarium...

My grandparents came to celebrate Thanksgiving with us! They enjoy spending time with Joey and so does he!

Our Turkey is finished and came out perfect!

The lovely Schad's posing as Joey begins to carve the turkey!

Everyone sitting at the dinner table enjoying the great food!

Joey showing off his strong abs...look at this boy!

Some after dinner fun....doesn't he look so much older!

Grandpa and Joey hanging out.

Thanksgiving was such a great day and was full of good food and wonderful time spent with family and friends. To those family members who were not with us, we missed you, but look forward to seeing you at Christmas!
