Christmas 2014....three months late :)

I realize we are in March, but I have to document our first Christmas in our house.  We made our first turkey.  It was so much fun.  We had 13 adults and 5 kids.  Maybe a bit crazy, but I love the excitement and loudness of everyone here.

A few days before we had our neighbor over to decorate gingerbread men.  We have the best neighbor girl.  She is in 7th grade and loves to play with our kids, and they love her.  She comes over after school for an hour or two to play.  That is my most stressful part of my day because kids are hungry and tired and dad isn't home.  She is such a blessing!

On Christmas Morning we woke up with my parents.  The kids were so excited to see the presents (Not all of these were ours, my sisters and their families were driving over so a lot of the presents were for them too).

We read the nativity story in the bible and sang happy birthday to Jesus.  Then we opened presents.
All wearing their matching PJ's they got from Grammy and Granddad the night before.
Next we had an egg casserole and cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

The girls put on their Christmas outfits, from Grammy.  How cute are they all matching?

My brother-in-law got this Seahawks apparel for Christmas.  So fun.

We had my sisters and their families, my grandpa, my parents, my uncle, cousin, and my other aunt and uncle.  It was a great night.
I really had planned to use my regular dishes, but I didn't have enough.  I actually had another dish set, but I had them stored at Cory's parents house during all our moves.  I was so bummed, but at least we saved on dishwashing :).   Next time!
