Starting off the New Year in Seattle

After spending the holidays in Spokane, Cory and I parted our own ways. He went back to school and I went to the Seattle area. I had tons of fun spending time with my family and visiting lots of friends. I know I did not get a chance to visit with everyone, but I did my best to see as many people as I could. It is a lot more difficult to get around when you have a 4 month old. Joey was a trooper and did very well. Here are some pictures to highlight my trip.

I flew to Seattle because it was my friend, Liz Farrey's, bachelorette party. She is getting married on July 24th, but we had her party early because we all live in separate states and it was the only time we would all be together, except for her wedding. We went to Chopstix, a dueling piano bar. We had a great time and I am so glad I was able to make it.

I had many friends come visit, but failed to take a picture with them. My friend Ramie came to visit and I did remember to take a pic. We have been friends since middle school and even lived together one year. She is getting married the weekend after Lizzie.

Then we had the opportunity to visit my Uncle Stan and his family. I always love visiting them. They are a big part of my life.

Lizzie came with us (she just returned from a year of service in Peru, so we tried to spend a lot of time together)

My cousin Staci was excited to meet Joey. He was getting tired in this picture.

Later in the week some family on my moms side came to meet Joey. This is my cousin Jared holding Joey.

This is his sister, Brittney. Isn't she beautiful!

My little sister Tara got engaged over Christmas...I think this picture captures their personality perfectly. Drew is her fiance!

Auntie Tara and Joey. He just loves her!

Joey met his Auntie Krista (actually 2nd cousins, but she is filipino and she said that when her cousins have kids they just call them aunt or uncle)

I stayed at Tara's apartment a few nights and had a visit from two girlfriends, Samantha and Mary. Mary is getting married the weekend before Lizzie's. (I bet you are beginning to realize how many friends of mine are getting married this summer)

Well, I wish I would have captured more pictures, but this gives you a general idea of our trip. We had a wonderful time, but are thankful to be home with Cory. Happy New Year!
