Sorry it has been so long since we have posted on here. We have been very busy running around with family and friends in the Spokane area. The past few weeks have been filled with adventures. We spent the 4th of July in Sandpoint, ID with my family and Cory's family. It was a beautiful day. We went to a parade in the morning and then spent the rest of the day swimming, jet skiing, eating, and relaxing. To top the night off...some people from across the lake put on a professional firework display. We brought chairs out onto our dock and watched from there. It was so much fun.
The next day we got up and drove back to Spokane for a baby shower. It was fun to see a lot of Cory's family friends and we even got to see our good college friend Lo. We got lots of nice presents and cute baby clothes :).
Cory and I spent the rest of the week in Idaho and then met up with Cory's parents and brothers family over at Priest Lake. We camped on the beach for the weekend. It was so much fun and we were all sad to leave. Now we are spending our last few days here. I am in my friend Amy's wedding this coming weekend in Seattle. We will be heading over there this week. After the wedding we will begin our drive back to Glendale, AZ. Our goal is to make it home by Monday July 21. As sad as we are to leave, we are ready to get back and move into our new apartment. This has been a wonderful trip and we are so grateful for all of the hospitality we have seen along the way.
Athena! You look like a nice watermelon. :) I can't wait until Joseph comes out! (You probably can't either.) I know two other couples with babies due next month.
